Founding Attorney

Tom grew up in Washington, in the Pierce County area and graduated from Steilacoom High School where he was active in sports and other interests. Tom went on to receive his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 2002. Tom returned home to Washington after completing law school and obtained his license to practice law in Washington State also in 2002. Tom eventually went to work for the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries before entering private practice and establishing his own law firm. Tom focuses on Washington State workers' compensation claims (industrial insurance) cases; both state fund and self-insured claims. Tom has represented injured workers before the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and before the Washington State Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, and also in Washington State Superior Courts and beyond. Tom's work experience gives him unique and valuable insights into the workers' compensation system in our state.

Tom has put together a team of experienced and passionate individuals to help injured workers since a team effort and approach sometimes helps clients the best, but he also still focuses on the one since each client is different and each claim varies as to what each individual client needs and wants.
